- After you board the train, and if there are open seats inside the train and we determine that there should be no disruption to train operations, you may switch to a reserved seat in the ordinary cars.
If you miss your designated train
- You may use a non-reserved seat in the ordinary cars of the trains that depart after your designated train, on and only on your designated boarding date. If you board a train the day after your designated boarding date or later, only the portion of ticket for basic fare will be valid within the valid period, and if you would like to board a Shinkansen or a limited express train, you must purchase a limited express ticket separately.
- * You may board the abovementioned transportation facilities within the Alpine Route by showing your return ticket.
- * Changes to your ticket cannot be accepted except for the starting date of its effective period (only once, before the ticket is used) and the designated train (only once, before the designated train departures). If your destination is beyond the area covered by the ticket, we ask that you pay the required fares and fees to cover the difference.
- * The departure ticket is only valid if you have your return ticket as well.
- * No stopovers can be made in areas other than the specified for each type.
- * This ticket cannot be used together with other discounts.
- * This ticket is not subject to transfer discounts.
