THE SHINKANSEN TOUR

“FLEX JAPAN” (*) is the name of a series of travel packages developed by JR Central, a leading railway company in Japan that operates the Tokaido Shinkansen, in cooperation with JTB (JTB-GMT Inc. (**)), a leading travel agency in Japan.
These travel packages leverage the vast tourism resources available in Japan, such as its natural scenery, history, culture, commercial businesses, industry and entertainment, and combine them with Japan’s railway network centering on the Tokaido Shinkansen to offer a new type of travel style to foreign tourists visiting Japan. The concept of this venture can be described as follows.

“If it’s sunny, why not view Mt. Fuji from the Shinkansen as it travels through Shizuoka. If it rains, head for the SCMAGLEV and Railway Park in Nagoya to learn about the history of Japan’s railway. And, when the rain lets up, take a stroll through the green gardens of Kyoto.
Be spontaneous and visit the best place on the best day.
With over 300 trains operating each day, the Tokaido Shinkansen, or “ Bullet Train” , will help your trips.

Based on this concept we are offering the following three products under the “FLEX JAPAN” brand. We hope that by using the comfortable Tokaido Shinkansen to tour Japan the memories of your travels will remain with you forever.
